Getting Started
How do I add a new pet?
Tap the "+" button on the Pets screen and fill in your pet’s details. You can add multiple pets and manage them individually.
Can I add more than one pet?
Yes. ChiPetPet supports multiple pets under one account. You can switch between them anytime.
How do I switch between pets?
Go to the Pets screen and select the pet you want to view. Each pet has its own health records and events.
Can I use the app offline?
You can view previously loaded information, but some features may require an internet connection.
Account
How do I change my login method?
Go to Settings > Login Method to connect or disconnect sign-in options.
How do I change my password?
Go to Settings > Change Password and enter your current password, then set a new one.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Use the "Forgot password" option on the login screen to reset it via email.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account data.
Health & Tracking
How do reminders work?
When you add a vaccine, medication, or vet visit, ChiPetPet sends reminders based on your notification settings.
Can I track weight changes over time?
Yes. Add weight entries and view trends in the weight chart.
What units are supported?
You can choose kg/lb for weight, set the default chart range, pick the first day of week, and adjust weight decimal precision in Unit Settings.
What is Default Chart Range?
It controls how much history is shown when you open charts (6 months, 1 year, or all time).
Privacy & Data
Is my data secure?
We take data protection seriously and do not sell personal information.
Will my data transfer to a new phone?
Yes. Sign in with the same account to access your data.
Can I share my pet profile with someone else?
Yes. Use Share Pet Access in Settings to invite another person.
Do you use my data for advertising?
No. ChiPetPet does not use your pet’s health records for targeted advertising.
