Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the ChiPetPet mobile application ("Application") provided by Emre Guray Onal. ChiPetPet helps you manage pet profiles, health records, medications, vaccines, vet visits, reminders, and sharing features in one place.

When you use the Application, the following information may be processed:

• Pet profile information: name, species, breed, birth date/age, gender, weight, photo, and notes
• Health and care records: medication plans, vaccine plans, vet visits, completed or snoozed reminders
• Account information: email address, sign-in method, and premium account status
• Sharing information: pet sharing invitations, user roles, and invitation status
• Device and usage information: app version, operating system, device information, crash logs, and in-app usage events
• Purchase information: subscription or premium access status, purchase validation data, and store transaction identifiers

The Application does not collect precise location data.

We use information to display pet records, create reminders, send notifications, enable premium features, manage shared pet access, improve the Application, analyze errors, and protect security.

In free usage, data is primarily stored locally on your device. For premium features, account synchronization, and pet sharing, certain data may be stored in secure cloud infrastructure. When you upgrade to Premium, eligible local data may be linked to your account and migrated to the cloud.

The Application may send local or remote notifications for medication, vaccine, vet visit, and care reminders. You can manage notification permissions from your device settings.

The Application may use the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Supabase - authentication, database, file storage, and secure synchronization
• RevenueCat - subscription and purchase management
• PostHog - product analytics and usage events
• Firebase Crashlytics - crash and error reports
• Google Play Services - Android platform services, Google sign-in, and store transactions
• Apple Services - iOS platform services, Apple sign-in, and App Store transactions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. ChiPetPet does not store your payment card details. Premium access may be verified through RevenueCat and the relevant app store provider.

We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed or shared only when necessary for app functionality, legal obligations, security, error analysis, purchase validation, or pet sharing initiated by you.

Data may be retained while your account is active or while you use the Application. If you delete your account or request deletion, related data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required. The Application is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect your data. However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely risk-free.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The updated policy becomes effective when published in the Application.
